All construction, trades, and building-related apps on AppsStore.ca are developed exclusively in-house by our team with 35+ years of field experience. We will not review, accept, or build construction app ideas from outside submissions. This includes concrete, framing, decks, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, foundations, and all related trades. No exceptions.

AppsStore.ca Build Agreement — Summary of Terms

1. Build Fee. Minimum $500 CAD. Final price quoted based on scope. Non-refundable once work begins.

2. Revenue Split. AppsStore.ca retains 60% of all subscription and purchase revenue generated by the app. Client receives 40%. Payouts are monthly with a $100 minimum threshold — amounts under $100 roll to the next month.

3. Advertising Revenue. AppsStore.ca retains 100% of all advertising revenue generated within or alongside the app.

4. 10-Year Term. AppsStore.ca owns and hosts the app for a minimum 10-year term. After 10 years, the client may request full ownership and source code, or renew the agreement. Early termination by the client forfeits all rights to the app.

5. Idea Ownership. The app concept and idea belong to the client. The source code, design, and hosting belong to AppsStore.ca for the duration of the term. Source code is not provided until the term ends.

6. No-Compete. During the 10-year term, the client may not commission, develop, or launch a competing app that replicates the core functionality of the app built under this agreement.

7. Updates & Changes. The build fee covers the initial agreed-upon scope. Any new features, redesigns, or major changes requested after launch will be quoted separately.

8. Inactive Apps. If an app generates zero revenue for 12 consecutive months, AppsStore.ca reserves the right to remove it from the platform.

9. Platform Closure. If AppsStore.ca ceases operations, full ownership of the app and source code transfers to the client at no cost.

10. Liability. The client is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and content of their app. AppsStore.ca is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use of the app.

11. Construction Apps. AppsStore.ca does not accept construction or trades app ideas. All construction apps are developed in-house exclusively by our team with 35+ years of construction experience. Submitting a construction-related idea will result in automatic rejection.

12. No Exclusivity on Ideas. Submitting an idea does not grant ownership, exclusivity, or any intellectual property rights over the concept. AppsStore.ca may independently develop similar apps at any time. Ideas are only locked in once a signed agreement and deposit are received.

13. First-Paid Priority. Submissions do not reserve an app concept. If multiple clients submit similar ideas, priority goes to the first client who signs an agreement and pays a deposit. Until payment is received, AppsStore.ca is under no obligation to hold or protect any submitted idea.
